In our Solaro facility near Milan, Sintoil has a dedicated department for the research & development of technologically advanced rubber compounds for the production of gaskets and custom profiles.

By constantly keeping up with the ongoing evolution of materials and applications, our laboratory features state-of-the-art instruments to create compounds and optimize its production process. This is crucial in identifying the chemical composition of single compounds, the proportion of raw materials and the type of processing required, so to reach the desired results without the risk of defects or problems. We strive to reach a perfect balance between technical performance and manufacturing easiness in relation to wear and tear rate and time decay (in absence of external elements), before the compound is approved for the components’ production.

We hire the best suppliers of raw materials to manufacture different types of rubber, suitable for a variety of applications and customisable based on the needs of the individual Customer.
